The Art of an Unexpected “I Do”
When you think of a seaside wedding in Italy, the usual images are iconic villas, glamorous terraces, or beach clubs. But sometimes, beauty lies far from the expected. That’s exactly what happened at Anam Terrace, a hidden gem nestled between the cliffs and turquoise waters of Marina di Marittima, in the heart of Salento.
This intimate celebration brought together the essence of Southern Italy — wild, romantic, and deeply personal. It wasn’t a wedding designed for a magazine spread; it was one created to feel true, intentional, and emotionally unforgettable.

A vision in white, wood, and candlelight
The design concept was all about elegant simplicity — a clean, quiet luxury aesthetic that let the natural surroundings speak.
Long wooden imperial tables were styled with white runners, hand-crafted ceramic plates, transparent glassware, and tall hurricane candle holders.Single cream roses dotted the table, while each guest received a handmade paper bag of traditional Apulian taralli, adding a rustic yet refined touch.

Chairs were dressed with soft rattan textures, and each woman found a delicate detail tied to her seat: a custom Hangover Kit, wrapped in blush tulle and satin ribbon — a fun and thoughtful wink to the after-party.

More than favors: a symbol of light and identity
As a wedding favor, the couple chose something far beyond the expected: a miniature version of the iconic iron streetlights from Kalimera, the groom’s hometown.
Artisanal, meaningful, and symbolic, this gift told a story — of origin, of heritage, and of love that carries light with it.

A celebration designed for the senses
Every element of this wedding was crafted not just to be seen, but to be felt, heard, tasted and remembered.
The sight of Cala dell’Acquaviva’s breathtaking view framed the entire experience — nature in its rawest, most cinematic form. The scent of “Silk Peonie” perfume lingered in the air and was lightly sprayed on the florals for a soft, sensory signature. Touch was expressed through materials: textured paper escort cards, ceramic surfaces, and natural linen napkins — every texture told a story. The taste of the Apulian-inspired dinner delighted guests with local flavors, reimagined with elegance... And the sound? A live violinist played romantic ballads that floated through the air like a soundtrack written just for them.

A non-traditional venue turned poetic stage
Turning a non-conventional venue like Anas Terrace into a wedding location isn’t just about logistics. It’s about vision. About seeing potential in what’s raw and natural, and turning it into something unforgettable.
There were no oversized installations or floral arches. Just good design, a curated vibe, and a story told through the details.A destination wedding in Puglia that said yes to intimacy, meaning, and a dash of quiet rebellion.
